1. Anyone that has ever visited the University of Florida in recent years knows there is no reliable place to keep your car while visiting, and almost every single student with a scooter has gotten a parking citation at some point. 2. The need we all need met is more parking!! When having visitors at my off campus dorm last year, there would not be any street parking and if they did find a spot they needed a temporary parking pass from our leasing office. Somehow scooter parking is even worse. Scooters are on top of each other at Library West. It is a feeding frenzy right before class starts with people hovering constantly for a spot before they are late for class. Some people suck it up and park outside the lines knowing they will most likely come back to a citation. UF is accepting more and more students, but they do not expand scooter parking. I have been surrounded with entrepreneurship for all of my life, my mom started a printing company when she was 25 and my dad owned his own contracting business. Unfortunately my dad's contracting business went under, my mom sold the printing company and we moved to Florida. My parents then started a web design/marketing company together. They both work from home and have flexible schedules to spend time with me and my brother, which not all parents with regular jobs can do. Even though they can make their own schedules they work such long hours and stress about the business constantly. After seeing both sides of the entrepreneurship industry I personally do not want to own my own business, seeing how much my parents stress and how hard they work, but it is what they want to do and they love it. The line is too long at the starbucks on campus. Why? Class just got out and they cannot make drinks fast enough. My phone is slow and will not load anything. Why?
